Role Overview

AlignBooks is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to join our team and create engaging visual content for our product, marketing, and brand communication.

If you have a passion for video editing, motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling, we’d love to hear from you!

🎥 Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

• Edit short-form & long-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, etc.

• Create product demos, explainers, walkthroughs, webinars, training videos & testimonials

• Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects & background music

• Ensure proper grammar, timing and flow in captions

• Optimise videos for different platforms and formats

✨ Motion Graphics & Animation

• Create intermediate to advanced animations using Adobe After Effects

• Animate text, icons, charts and UI screens

• Create branded intros, outros and reusable templates

🎨 Static Creatives

• Design banners, thumbnails, posters and social media creatives

• Work with CorelDRAW & Adobe Photoshop for image editing and layouts

• Maintain brand consistency across visual assets

🛠️ Required Skills & Tools

Proficiency in:

✔ Adobe Premiere Pro

✔ Adobe After Effects

Working knowledge of:

✔ CorelDRAW

✔ Adobe Photoshop

✔ Canva

Good understanding of:

✔ Video storytelling, pacing & platform-specific formats

✔ English for understanding scripts, captions and briefs

👤 Who Can Apply?

Freshers:

• Certification in Video Editing / Motion Graphics from a recognised institute

• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating your skills

Experienced Candidates:

• Relevant experience in video editing and motion graphics

• Strong portfolio/showreel showcasing your work
