Experience Required: 04 to 06 years’ experience in Corrugated Box Manufacturing Industry or preferably from a manufacturing / industrial / FMCG.

Salary : 4 to 6 Lakhs CTC per annum. (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Activities
1. Account Management & Revenue Growth
Independently handle a portfolio of medium to large customers across FMCG, pharma, food, e-commerce, electronics, and industrial segments
Ensure regular order flow, volume growth, and repeat business
Upsell higher-value products such as:
3-ply and 5-ply boxes
Die-cut and printed cartons
Export and heavy-duty packaging
Manage annual price agreements and periodic price revisions linked to kraft paper fluctuations
2. New Business Development
Identify new customers through:
Market visits
Referrals
Packaging consultants
Conduct technical discussions with customer packaging / QA teams
Lead sampling, trials, and approvals until commercial orders are received
Convert competitors’ customers through cost, quality, or service differentiation.
3. Pricing, Negotiation & Margin Control
Prepare detailed quotations based on:
Board construction (ply, GSM, BF)
Box dimensions and weight
Printing and die-cut requirements
Negotiate pricing while maintaining targeted contribution margins
Propose design optimization or board reduction to control costs
Monitor competitor pricing and market trends
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the single point of contact between customer and factory
Coordinate with:
Production for capacity planning and priority jobs
Design team for box structure and artwork approvals
Quality team for customer-specific standards and audits
Dispatch for delivery planning
Accounts for credit limits and collections
Escalate and resolve delivery delays, quality complaints, and urgent requirements
5. Quality, Trials & Continuous Improvement
Support box performance trials (BCT, stacking, transit tests)
Handle customer complaints and root cause analysis
Implement corrective actions with internal teams
Work on continuous cost and quality improvement for key accounts
6. Reporting & Commercial Discipline
Maintain sales forecasts and customer consumption data
Track:
Enquiries vs orders
Margins per customer
Dispatch status
Outstanding payments
Ensure timely collection and adherence to credit terms
Update CRM / ERP regularly
Day-to-Day Activities
Morning
Review order status, dispatches, and production schedules
Follow up on delayed or priority orders
Check raw material (kraft paper) price movements
Call key customers for:
Order confirmations
Volume planning
Delivery alignment
Mid-Day / Afternoon
Field visits for:
New customer meetings
Trial approvals
Price negotiations
Resolving quality or delivery issues
Coordinate sampling and artwork approvals
Finalize quotations and revise existing price lists
Evening
Internal coordination with production, QA, and dispatch
Follow up on pending payments and credit issues
Update sales reports, forecasts, and CRM
Plan next day’s visits and weekly targets
