We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities of a manufacturing organization. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling accounts payable and receivable, GST and TDS compliance, bank reconciliation, invoicing, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
The candidate should have good knowledge of manufacturing accounting, inventory accounting, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance and should be comfortable working with accounting software/ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records.
Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries, and other financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely settlements.
Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all accounting transactions.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Manufacturing & Inventory Accounting
Record and monitor raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods transactions.
Coordinate with stores, purchase, production, and sales teams for accounting-related matters.
Verify purchase invoices against purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and supporting documents.
Assist in inventory reconciliation and stock valuation.
Support the preparation and analysis of manufacturing-related costs.
Monitor production-related expenses and assist in cost accounting activities.
GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
Prepare and maintain GST-related records and reconciliations.
Assist with timely filing of GST returns and other applicable statutory returns.
Handle TDS calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and filings.
Ensure proper maintenance of statutory documents and records.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities when required.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare periodic accounting and financial reports.
Assist in preparation of MIS reports for management.
Provide information required for budgeting, costing, and financial analysis.
Track expenses, receivables, payables, and other key financial indicators.
Audit & Compliance
Support internal, statutory, and tax audits.
Provide accounting records and supporting documents to auditors.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
Identify accounting discrepancies and assist in resolving them.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.
Experience with inventory and manufacturing-related accounting will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience
Experience in industries such as engineering, automotive, electrical, machinery, fabrication, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or other manufacturing sectors will be preferred.
