Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to join our software company. The candidate should have good knowledge of computer products/items, software solutions, and basic IT concepts, along with excellent communication and convincing skills.

The candidate will be responsible for tele-calling, identifying potential customers, generating business leads, explaining products/services, and converting leads into business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential customers and generate business leads.

• Identify new business opportunities through tele-calling, online research, and follow-ups.

• Explain company software products/services clearly to prospective customers.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

• Develop and maintain good relationships with prospective and existing customers.

• Follow up with leads regularly and coordinate for meetings/demonstrations.

• Maintain proper records of calls, leads, follow-ups, and business opportunities.

• Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly lead-generation targets.

• Coordinate with the sales and technical teams for customer requirements.

• Convert qualified leads into potential business opportunities.

• Stay updated about company products, software solutions, and computer-related products.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good English communication and convincing skills.

• Strong interpersonal and customer-handling skills.

• Good knowledge of computers, computer items, software, and basic IT products.

• Proficient in using computers, MS Office, email, internet, and basic business applications.

• Willingness to make tele-calling and sales-related calls.

• Good follow-up and lead-generation skills.

• Ability to understand customer requirements and explain solutions effectively.

• Target-oriented and self-motivated.

• Previous experience in BDE, Telecalling, Inside Sales, IT Sales, Software Sales, or Lead Generation will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with good communication and sales ability.

• Candidates who are confident in speaking with customers over the phone.

• Candidates who are comfortable with regular tele-calling and follow-ups.

• Candidates with experience in software/IT products or computer sales will be preferred.

• Freshers with excellent communication and convincing skills may also be considered.
