Job Description – Business Development Executive (BDE) Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive (BDE) Intern to join our Sales team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in Sales, Business Development, Client Handling, and Lead Generation and want to gain practical experience in a professional work environment.

The BDE Intern will work closely with the Sales team and assist in generating leads, communicating with prospective clients, conducting follow-ups, and supporting day-to-day sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in generating new business leads through online research, calling, social media, references, and other sources.

• Make introductory calls to potential customers and understand their requirements.

• Qualify leads based on customer needs and business potential.

• Follow up with prospective clients through calls, WhatsApp, and email.

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating client meetings.

• Learn and effectively communicate the company’s products and services.

• Support the sales team in preparing presentations, quotations, and other sales-related documents.

• Maintain and regularly update lead details and follow-up status in the CRM/sales tracker.

• Conduct basic market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities.

• Coordinate with senior team members regarding leads, client requirements, and follow-ups.

• Maintain daily records of calls, leads generated, meetings, and follow-up activities.

• Work towards assigned internship-level sales and lead-generation targets.

• Collect customer feedback and communicate relevant information to the senior team.

• Participate in training sessions and continuously improve sales and communication skills.
