JOB TITLE: ADMISSION COUNSELOR
LOCATION: Thane, Nerul, Dadar & Andheri
ABOUT NETTECH INDIA:
Nettech India is seeking an experienced Admission Counselor with managerial capabilities to lead counseling operations, drive admissions, manage a team of counselors, and support overall branch growth.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, target-driven, and experienced in managing teams within the education or training industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Counseling & Sales:
Handle walk-in and telephonic inquiries professionally and convert leads into admissions.
Provide accurate course information, career guidance, and training path recommendations to students and working professionals.
Understand student needs and propose suitable programs offered by Nettech India.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
2. Managerial & Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of education counselors.
Monitor team performance, set targets, and ensure achievement of daily/weekly sales goals.
Conduct regular training sessions for counselors to improve counseling and sales skills.
Oversee daily operations of the counseling department and ensure smooth workflow.
3. Operations & Reporting:
Maintain updated records of inquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and student documentation.
Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and performance dashboards for management review.
Coordinate with academic trainers, marketing teams, and center managers for seamless operations.
Implement strategies to improve conversion rates, walk-ins, and brand presence.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure high-quality counseling experience and customer satisfaction.
Handle escalations, resolve student concerns, and manage post-admission support.
Build long-term relationships with students, corporate clients, and academic partners.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
Graduate/PG in any discipline (MBA preferred).
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of experience in educational counseling, preferably in institutes offering IT, technical, or professional training.
SKILLS:
Experience in EdTech, training institutes, or skill development organizations.
Strong team management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
Proven track record of meeting sales or admission targets.
Ability to manage pressure, lead by example, and motivate team members.
Strong understanding of career trends, IT certifications, and training programs (preferred).
