Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution:
Oversee end-to-end execution of dark store setup projects, ensuring timely completion as per defined timelines.
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, procurement, real estate, IT, etc.) and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project milestones, address bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and local guidelines during store setup.
2. Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as a central point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the dark store launch.
Liaise with vendors and contractors for timely material delivery, installations, and inspections.
Collaborate with the real estate and procurement teams to ensure site readiness.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure handover of the store post-completion.
3. Budget & Cost Management:
Track project budgets and control costs to prevent overruns.
Ensure all project expenditures are aligned with approved budgets.
Work with finance and procurement teams to facilitate timely payments and vendor invoicing.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and compliance standards as per company policies.
Conduct regular inspections to verify that the infrastructure meets operational requirements.
Address any quality-related issues and implement corrective measures.
5. Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain detailed project records, including timelines, progress reports, and issue logs.
Provide regular updates to the Zonal Head and senior management on project status and challenges.
Document lessons learned and suggest improvements for future dark store launches.
6. Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address issues related to permits, approvals, or unforeseen delays.
