Printer Operation & Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and operate 3D printers, performing routine maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
Job Preparation: Analyze, edit, and optimize 3D models using slicing and CAD software (e.g., STL files) for optimal printing.
Post-Processing: Perform finishing tasks such as removing support structures, sanding, polishing, or cleaning printed parts.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and troubleshoot, or reprint, if necessary.
Material Management: Handle various materials (plastics, metals, ceramics) and manage inventory.
Safety & Documentation: Maintain a safe, clean workspace, adhere to safety protocols, and document print jobs and maintenance activities.
Education: A diploma or degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or relevant certification in Additive Manufacturing.
