We are looking for a hands-on, skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the daily upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of our machinery and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working with their hands, understands mechanical toolings, and can ensure our equipment operates at peak efficiency with minimal downtime.
Daily Machine Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all plant machinery to prevent breakdowns.
Mechanical Repairs: Diagnose and fix mechanical issues, including replacing worn-out parts, gears, bearings, and belts. Assist On-site Electrician whenever needed and work together to solve problems.
Tooling Management: Handle and maintain mechanical toolings, ensuring they are sharp, calibrated, and stored correctly.
General Workshop Tasks: Use a variety of hand and power tools (drills, grinders, wrenches) for assembly and repair tasks.
Basic Fabrication: Handle minor welding, cutting, or drilling tasks as required for machine modifications or repairs.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free working environment. Make sure other technicians are following safety protocols.
Education: ITI (Fitter/Mechanic) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and "toolings."
Proficiency in using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers and micrometers.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings or machine manuals.
Language: Ability to communicate in Hindi and/or the local language; basic English for reading manuals is a plus.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work on the shop floor and handle heavy tools or equipment.
