Job Title Cold Room Technician

Job Purpose

Install, commission, service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Ductable/ VRV/VRF/Chiller/Cold Room and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Install Ductable/ VRV/VRF/Chiller/Cold Room and refrigeration equipment.

* Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule.

* Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults.

* Conduct pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and leak testing.

* Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.

* Ensure safe working practices and proper use of PPE.

* Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical guidance.

* Support AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) renewals and identify service opportunities.

Required Skills

* Refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting.

* Refrigerant handling and charging.

* Reading electrical and piping drawings.

* Use of testing instruments and service tools.

* Problem-solving, teamwork, and customer service.

Qualification

* ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

* 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* First-time fix rate.

* Preventive maintenance completed on time.

* Breakdown response and repair time.

* Customer satisfaction.

* Repeat complaint rate.

* Timely submission of service reports.

* Safety compliance.

Working Conditions

* Field service at customer locations.

* Travel and emergency call-outs as required.

* Work in cold and freezer environments while following all safety procedures.
