Job Responsibilities

• Perform welding work for fire-fighting piping systems and supports.

• Welding of MS pipes, pipe supports, brackets, frames and related structures.

• Perform ARC / electric welding as per site requirements.

• Carry out cutting, grinding and preparation of materials before welding.

• Ensure proper welding joints, alignment and finishing.

• Read and understand basic drawings and welding requirements.

• Perform repair, modification and maintenance welding work as required.

• Inspect welding work and maintain proper quality standards.

• Handle welding machines, grinders and other tools safely.

• Maintain welding equipment and report any defects to the supervisor.

• Follow all site safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

• Coordinate with fitters, supervisors and engineers.

• Complete assigned welding work within the required timeline.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of welding techniques and practices.

• Practical experience in MS pipe and structural welding.

• Ability to perform welding with proper alignment and finishing.

• Basic understanding of drawings and measurements.

• Knowledge of welding safety and PPE.

• Ability to work at project sites and follow supervisor instructions.

Mandatory Qualification

ITI Certificate in Welder Trade is mandatory.
