Telecaller – Loans & Financial Services (Job Description / Profile Summary)
A Telecaller in the loans and financial services sector is responsible for connecting with potential and existing clients to promote, explain, and facilitate a wide range of financial products. These include personal loans, home loans, business loans, vehicle loans, loan against property, credit cards, insurance, SIPs, and other investment solutions.
The role requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to build trust with customers while ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to potential customers and handle inbound inquiries regarding loan and financial products
Explain features, benefits, eligibility criteria, interest rates, and documentation requirements clearly
Generate and qualify leads for various loan products and financial services
Assist customers in selecting the most suitable financial solutions based on their needs
Maintain regular follow-ups with interested clients to close deals
Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, and internal teams for loan processing and approvals
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, and status updates
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships for repeat business and referrals
Required Skills:
Strong communication and convincing skills (Hindi & basic English preferred)
Good understanding of financial products and loan procedures
Sales-oriented mindset with a target-driven approach
Ability to handle objections and resolve customer queries effectively
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM tools, data entry)
Positive attitude, patience, and professionalism
Additional Responsibilities (Advanced Role):
Cross-selling insurance, mutual funds, and other financial products
Ensuring data confidentiality and secure handling of customer information
Updating clients on new offers, schemes, and policy changes
Supporting documentation and verification processes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in telecalling, sales, or financial services (preferred but not mandatory)
Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach
