Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve regional sales and market share objectives for the oncology portfolio.
Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with organizational goals.
Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to expand product penetration.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer dynamics to drive business performance.
Ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Team Management
Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of Oncology Sales Representatives.
Set performance objectives and conduct regular field visits to enhance team effectiveness.
Monitor individual and team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
Drive a high-performance culture through continuous training and motivation.
Key Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with Oncologists, Hematologists, Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, and key healthcare stakeholders.
Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospital administrators, and institutional decision-makers.
Facilitate scientific discussions and ensure effective communication of product value propositions.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Analyze sales data and market insights to identify opportunities and risks.
Develop regional business forecasts and monitor sales performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Supply Chain.
Ensure optimal resource utilization and territory coverage.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM updates, and market intelligence.
Submit timely business reviews, forecasts, and expense reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
MBA preferred.
Experience
3–15 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience managing a team in Oncology sales.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of oncology therapies, treatment protocols, and hospital/institutional sales.
