Job Summary:
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, and strengthening brand presence for the courier business. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and executing marketing initiatives to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Identify and acquire new business opportunities (B2B & B2C segments).
Manage and grow key accounts such as e-commerce clients, SMEs, and corporate customers.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet targets.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
Marketing & Business Development:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote courier services.
Build brand awareness through digital marketing, field promotions, and local campaigns.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Develop pricing strategies and promotional offers.
Coordinate with operations to ensure service quality aligns with marketing promises.
Client Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Handle customer escalations and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Track KPIs such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
MBA (preferred)
Experience:
7–12 years of experience in sales & marketing
Experience in courier, logistics, or e-commerce industry preferred
