Job Summary:
As a Sales Consultant, you will be the primary contact between the dealership and customers, helping them to navigate the car‐buying process. Your goal is to provide exceptional customer service, meet or exceed sales goals, and build long‐term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs and preferences. Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of the dealership's vehicle inventory, features, and pricing to effectively match customers with the right vehicles. Sales Process: Guide customers through the entire sales process, including test drives, financing options, trade‐in evaluations, and finalizing the sale. Documentation: Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, including contracts, financing documents, and title transfers.
Customer Follow‐up: Maintain regular communication with existing and potential customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals as set by the dealership. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, finance department, and management to ensure a seamless customer experience. Market Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and promotions to effectively position the dealership's inventory.
Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, marketing, or business is a plus.
