Roles & Responsibilities – Retail Sales Associate (RSA)
1. Sales Responsibility
The Retail Sales Associate shall be responsible for achieving the individual sales targets assigned by the Store Manager or management and contributing to the overall store sales performance.
2. Customer Assistance
Greet customers, understand their requirements, and assist them in selecting suitable products by providing accurate information and product demonstrations.
3. Product Knowledge
Maintain a clear understanding of the products available in the store, including designs, features, pricing, and current promotions.
4. Sales Conversion
Actively engage with customers and make efforts to convert inquiries into successful sales through effective communication and product presentation.
5. Customer Service
Ensure a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers and provide a positive shopping experience at all times.
6. Product Presentation
Ensure that products are properly arranged and displayed on counters or shelves to maintain an attractive and organized store environment.
7. Handling Customer Queries
Respond to customer inquiries related to products, pricing, availability, and offers in a professional manner.
8. Billing Coordination
Coordinate with the billing counter to ensure accurate invoicing and smooth completion of sales transactions.
9. Promotion of Store Offers
Inform customers about ongoing promotions, offers, or new collections to encourage purchases and improve sales.
10. Customer Relationship Support
Encourage repeat visits by maintaining good customer interaction and informing customers about new arrivals or promotional activities.
11. Team Coordination
Work collaboratively with the store team to ensure smooth sales operations and assist in achieving overall store targets.
12. Compliance with Company Policies
Follow all company policies related to sales procedures, product handling, and customer service.
