About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Sales Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The role involves understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, developing new business opportunities, and promoting the company's range of products.

The ideal candidate should have an engineering background, good communication skills, and an interest in technical sales and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular customer visits to understand their processes, requirements, and challenges.

• Identify opportunities where our products can provide effective solutions.

• Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and consultations to customers.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

• Generate new leads and identify potential business opportunities.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/solutions.

• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial discussions.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely response to customer requirements.

• Follow up with prospects and convert opportunities into closed business.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.

• Maintain regular records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activities.

Required Skills

• Diploma / Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.

• 0–1 years of experience in technical sales / industrial sales / field sales.

• Fresh engineering diploma holders with a strong interest in sales may also apply.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to understand technical products and explain them effectively to customers.

• Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.

• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive approach.

• Good negotiation and follow-up skills.
