About the Role
We are seeking hardworking, target-driven male candidates to join Paytm’s EDC (Card Swipe Machine) Sales team in Bangalore. This is a 100% field-sales role focused on driving business growth through local merchant acquisition and the deployment of our industry-leading payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Merchant Acquisition: Conduct daily field visits across assigned micro-markets to pitch and onboard retail businesses for Paytm EDC machines.
Sales & Targets: Generate B2B leads, negotiate effectively, and consistently achieve daily and monthly device deployment targets.
Account Management: Build relationships with merchants, ensure smooth onboarding, and act as the primary point of contact for post-sales support.
Market Reporting: Gather local market intelligence and competitor feedback to optimize sales strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Graduation is mandatory.
Experience: Ambitious freshers and experienced field sales professionals are both welcome to apply.
Skills: Strong sales acumen, excellent communication, and persuasive negotiation skills.
Work Ethic: Must be highly resilient, hardworking, and comfortable spending the entire workday in the field.
Requirements: A two-wheeler, a valid driving license, and a smartphone are mandatory for daily travel.
