Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Insurance Sales Professional with 2–4 years of proven experience in selling Health Insurance and Term Life Insurance products. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, customer handling experience, and the ability to close deals while building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sell Health Insurance and Term Life Insurance products to individual customers
Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, field sales, and digital platforms
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance solutions
Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and premium details clearly to customers
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
Handle customer queries and resolve concerns related to insurance products
Assist customers with documentation, proposal forms, and policy issuance
Coordinate with internal teams for underwriting, policy processing, and renewals
Ensure timely follow-ups for policy renewals and cross-selling opportunities
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
Stay updated with insurance products, market trends, and regulatory guidelines
Ensure compliance with company policies and IRDA regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Health & Term Insurance sales
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Good understanding of insurance products and sales processes
Customer-focused approach with problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team
Basic computer knowledge (CRM, MS Excel, email)
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in agency, banca, or direct insurance sales
Strong local market knowledge
Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
