Job Responsibilities

• Installation of fire-fighting piping systems at project sites.

• Pipe cutting, fitting, alignment, threading and jointing.

• Installation of pipe supports, clamps, hangers and related components.

• Reading and understanding basic fire-fighting drawings and measurements.

• Carrying out pipe installation as per drawings and site requirements.

• Dismantling, modification and repair of fire-fighting pipelines when required.

• Ensure proper alignment, level and quality of pipe installation.

• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for daily site activities.

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

• Follow site safety rules and use required PPE.

• Complete assigned work within the given timeline.

• Maintain daily work records and report completed work to the supervisor.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of pipe fitting and fire-fighting piping work.

• Knowledge of pipe measurements, threading and jointing.

• Ability to understand basic drawings.

• Good workmanship and attention to detail.

• Ability to work at project sites and follow instructions.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE.

Mandatory Qualification

ITI Certificate in Fitter Trade is mandatory.
