Job Title: Vendor Development & Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional responsible for identifying new vendors, establishing business tie-ups, and managing procurement of products at competitive prices while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new vendors/suppliers for business expansion

• Conduct market research to find reliable and cost-effective vendors

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors

• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships

• Handle purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely procurement of products

• Compare quotations and finalize vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines

• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, warehouse, accounts) for smooth operations

• Ensure compliance with company policies and documentation requirements

• Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues if any

• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and vendor database

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement/vendor management (FMCG preferred)

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Good knowledge of MS Excel & MIS reporting

• Ability to analyze pricing and market trends

• Vendor coordination and follow-up skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in FMCG / Distribution / E-commerce industry

• Knowledge of supply chain processes

• Ability to handle multiple vendors and bulk purchasing
