
Job Description:
A Chemical Field Sales Engineer bridges technical expertise with commercial strategy, promoting and selling chemical products, raw materials, or equipment to industrial clients. They identify new business, deliver technical presentations, provide on-site consultations, and negotiate contracts to achieve sales targets while fostering long-term client relationships.
1- Technical Sales & Support:
Act as the technical expert during sales, providing product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and tailored solutions for clients' manufacturing processes.
2- Business Development:
Proactively identify and secure new customers in sectors like oil & gas, pharma, water treatment, and manufacturing.
3- Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers (procurement, engineering, production teams) to ensure high customer satisfaction.
4- Sales Execution:
Prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals while monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
5- Technical Collaboration:
Liaise with in-house R&D, engineering, and production teams to customize products for specific customer needs.
6- Reporting & Strategy:
Track daily activities, maintain sales forecasts, and report on performance metrics to management.
Skills Required:
1- Proven experience in technical sales, specifically within the chemical industry or relevant industrial sectors.
2- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts, negotiation abilities, and proficiency in CRM software.
3- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of traveling to client sites frequently.
4- Understanding of the Chemical Industry and its business.
