Business Development Leader , Executive / Manager – Exhibition Stall Fabrication (Exhibitor Focus | Domestic & International)

Propshop Worldwide is a trusted exhibition stand design agency, offering global services with local expertise.

 Job Summary

We are looking for a result-driven Business Development professional responsible for generating business from exhibitors participating in exhibitions and trade shows across India and international markets. The role focuses on lead generation from exhibitor lists, client briefing, conversion, and execution coordination to deliver impactful exhibition stall solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • MBA (preferred)

Experience

  • 3–5 years (Executive level)

  • 5–10+ years (Manager level)

  • 15 years (leader level)

  • Experience in exhibition, events, B2B sales, or stall fabrication Is a Must

 Job Location

  • Base: Mumbai (Mahim)

  • Travel required for exhibitions (domestic & international)

 

 Compensation

  • Not a constraint for the right candidate

  • Better than industry standards

 

Skills Required

  • Strong lead generation and exhibitor prospecting skills

  • Excellent client briefing and requirement understanding

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to handle domestic and international exhibitors

  • Knowledge of exhibition stall design and materials

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

 Key Responsibilities

 Business Development (Exhibitor-Focused)

  • Identify and target exhibitors participating in upcoming exhibitions and trade fairs (India & global)

  • Generate business opportunities directly from exhibiting companies across industries

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of active and upcoming exhibitors

  • Achieve sales targets by converting exhibitors into clients

 

 Lead Generation from Exhibitors (Core Focus)

  • Source leads from:

    • Exhibitor lists published by exhibition organizers

    • Event websites, directories, and B2B platforms

    • LinkedIn outreach targeting marketing/branding teams of exhibiting companies

  • Track upcoming exhibitions and shortlist relevant exhibitors in advance

  • Segment exhibitors based on industry, stall size, and potential budget

  • Maintain and update a structured database of exhibitors (domestic & international)

 

 Exhibitor Requirement Understanding & Briefing

  • Connect with exhibitors to understand:

    • Stall size, layout, and space allocation

    • Brand positioning and exhibition objectives

    • Product display requirements and visitor engagement goals

    • Budget and timelines

  • Prepare detailed client briefs for internal design and production teams

  • Ensure accurate translation of exhibitor requirements into design concepts

 

 

 Exhibitor Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with exhibitors for repeat participation across multiple exhibitions

  • Act as the primary point of contact from inquiry to project completion

  • Handle communication with domestic and international exhibitors across time zones

  • Ensure high satisfaction and long-term client retention

 

 Design & Proposal Coordination

  • Coordinate with design teams to create customized stall concepts for exhibitors

  • Present 2D/3D stall designs aligned with exhibitor branding

  • Develop proposals tailored to exhibitor objectives and exhibition guidelines

 

 Commercials & Conversion

  • Prepare quotations covering design, fabrication, logistics, and installation

  • Negotiate pricing and close deals with exhibitors

  • Ensure profitability while offering competitive solutions

 

 Project Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate with internal teams for stall fabrication and execution

  • Manage logistics and installation at exhibition venues (India & international)

  • Ensure timely delivery before exhibition opening

  • Support on-site execution and resolve real-time issues

 

 Market Research (Exhibitor Insights)

  • Track upcoming exhibitions and analyse exhibitor participation trends

  • Study competitor offerings and pricing strategies

  • Identify high-potential industries and repeat exhibitors

  • Explore opportunities to expand into new exhibition markets

 

 Post-Exhibition Follow-up

  • Collect feedback from exhibitors after project completion

  • Maintain relationships for future exhibitions

  • Generate repeat business from the same exhibitors across multiple events
