Job Summary
The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, developing client relationships, and driving sales of the company's IT products and services. The role will involve prospecting, client communication, requirement understanding, proposal coordination, follow-ups, and converting prospects into business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target industries.
Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, online platforms, and other sources.
Contact prospective clients and understand their business and technology requirements.
Present and explain the company's IT services, software solutions, and offerings to potential clients.
Schedule meetings and product/service demonstrations with prospective clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Follow up with prospects regularly and manage the complete sales cycle.
Prepare and coordinate quotations, proposals, presentations, and other sales documents.
Coordinate with the technical/development team to understand client requirements and prepare suitable solutions.
Negotiate with clients regarding pricing, scope, timelines, and commercial terms.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, follow-ups, and sales activities in CRM.
Achieve monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and new business opportunities.
Ensure timely follow-up and closure of sales opportunities.
Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales process.
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and project handover after deal closure.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
Participate in client meetings, industry events, networking activities, and business development initiatives.
Contribute to the development and implementation of business development strategies.

Qualification & Experience
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience: 0–3 years of experience in Business Development, IT Sales, Software Sales, or B2B Sales preferred.
Candidates with experience in selling IT services, software, web/mobile development, SaaS, or digital solutions will be preferred.
Freshers with strong communication, confidence, and a willingness to build a career in IT sales may also be considered.
