Chhaya Solar is a solar energy company focused on providing reliable and cost-effective solar solutions to residential, commercial, and other customers. We are looking for motivated and result-oriented professionals to join our growing Business Development team.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar products and solutions.

• Generate leads through field visits, referrals, local networking, digital platforms, and other channels.

• Meet potential customers and understand their electricity and solar requirements.

• Explain solar solutions, benefits, pricing, savings, and available government subsidy schemes to customers.

• Prepare and share quotations and proposals with prospective customers.

• Follow up with leads and convert prospects into customers.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments.

• Coordinate with the technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Maintain regular records of leads, customer meetings, follow-ups, and sales.

• Achieve assigned monthly sales and revenue targets.

• Support promotional activities, local campaigns, exhibitions, and other marketing initiatives.

• Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, field sales, or a related role preferred.

• Experience in the solar, electrical, renewable energy, real estate, telecom, or consumer durable industry will be an advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong negotiation and convincing abilities.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and field activities.

• Ability to generate leads independently and achieve sales targets.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Sheets and smartphone applications.

• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
