Backend Sales Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Backend Sales Executive to support the sales team by managing enquiries, qualifying leads, preparing quotations, coordinating with field sales teams, tracking orders, and maintaining CRM records. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B inside sales, sales coordination, or order desk operations and be comfortable handling high volumes of customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management

• Respond to all incoming enquiries through phone, email, website, WhatsApp, and other channels.

• Contact new leads on the same working day.

• Gather customer requirements and qualify leads.

• Capture and maintain complete customer information.

CRM Management

• Update all leads, activities, follow-ups, and next actions in the CRM system.

• Ensure no lead remains unattended.

• Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline data.

Sales Coordination

• Assign qualified leads to the appropriate field sales representative.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely customer follow-up.

• Track lead progress through various sales stages.

Quotation Preparation

• Prepare and manage quotations using standard company templates.

• Verify customer requirements and commercial details before submission.

• Maintain quotation records and documentation.

Order Processing

• Coordinate order confirmation and documentation.

• Liaise with operations and other departments for order execution.

• Share dispatch and installation updates with customers.

Customer Follow-Up

• Follow up on open quotations and pending opportunities.

• Track customer responses and update sales status.

• Support payment follow-ups and collection activities.

Reporting

• Generate weekly sales and lead conversion reports.

• Track enquiry-to-order conversion metrics.

• Maintain sales dashboards and performance reports.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.

Candidate Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in B2B inside sales, sales coordination, order desk, customer support, or sales operations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM software.

• Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously.

• Good analytical and numerical skills.

• Comfortable handling high daily call volumes and customer interactions.
