Key Responsibilities
Operations
• Ensure timely store openings and uphold employee grooming standards (e.g., clean
uniforms, proper grooming).
• Monitor FIFO (First-In, First-Out) product management and ensure timely replenishment of
stock.
• Maintain neat and compliant product displays, including ensuring freezer and chiller
temperatures are within prescribed limits.
• Inspect product quality during receipt; promptly report any issues to the relevant
stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate pricing in the system, on scales, and price boards.
• Oversee purchase indents, GRN entries, and invoice sharing.
• Conduct weekly store meetings to address operational issues and report updates to the
reporting manager.
• Minimize dump and wastage through education and process monitoring, ensuring efficient
waste management.
• Support team members in crisis management, client handling, and operational
improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost profitability and reduce costs on a monthly basis.
Customer Management
• Monitor and enhance customer service operations to meet and exceed customer
expectations.
• Improve customer conversion rates and foster loyalty through exceptional service
experiences.
Cost and Profitability
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving and operational efficiency.
• Analyse expenses, inventory losses, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
Employee Development
• Motivate employees to enhance skills, foster creativity, and improve performance.
• Monitor individual progress and coordinate corrective action plans with HR as necessary.
• Conduct performance reviews and adjust strategies to align with team goals.
Training and Discipline
• Identify skill gaps and ensure relevant training programs are conducted as per the annual
training plan.
• Provide product knowledge training for new hires and ongoing development for current staff.
• Train employees on customer engagement, including behavioural and sales techniques.
• Educate team members on store cleanliness, hygiene, and operational standards.
