Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Salon Manager to oversee daily salon operations, manage staff, drive sales, maintain service quality, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and sales skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Salon Operations

• Manage daily salon operations and ensure smooth functioning.

• Ensure the salon opens and closes on time.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and professional standards.

• Monitor service quality and ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Sales & Revenue

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

• Promote salon services, packages, memberships, and retail products.

• Encourage upselling and cross-selling of services.

• Track daily revenue, average bill value, walk-ins, and conversions.

• Follow up with existing and inactive customers to generate repeat business.

3. Staff Management

• Supervise hairstylists, beauticians, therapists, receptionists, and housekeeping staff, as applicable.

• Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance.

• Train, motivate, and guide the team to improve performance.

• Maintain staff discipline, grooming, punctuality, and professional behaviour.

4. Customer Service

• Welcome customers warmly and understand their requirements.

• Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

• Ensure proper consultation before recommending services.

• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.

• Collect customer feedback and encourage genuine online reviews.

5. Inventory & Administration

• Monitor salon products, consumables, and stock levels.

• Prevent product wastage and ensure proper usage.

• Maintain daily sales reports, cash records, and customer databases.

• Ensure billing accuracy and proper payment handling.

• Submit daily performance reports to management.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities.

• Sales-driven approach with good negotiation skills.

• Basic computer knowledge, Excel, and billing software.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Knowledge of salon services, beauty products, and industry trends.
