We are looking for a Store Keeper to join our team at Royal Rasoi to assist store keeping. The role requires a positive attitude and managing responsibilities like stocking shelves and managing stock.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control: Receive, unload, and shelve supplies; verify goods against purchase orders, ensuring quality and quantity compliance.
Issuing & Requisitions: Issue items to departments (kitchen, housekeeping) upon receiving authorized, signed requisitions.
Storage Maintenance: Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage areas, ensuring proper, hygienic storage conditions and complying with public health standards.
Stock Management: Track inventory levels, rotate stock (FIFO - First In, First Out), and identify slow-moving items to prevent wastage or over-purchasing.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, using inventory software like MS Office or specialized hotel management systems.
Reporting: Prepare daily/monthly stock, consumption, and inventory reports for management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or as a hotel storekeeper.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and inventory management software.
Abilities: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to lift/move goods.
Key Performance Indicators
Zero or minimal discrepancy between physical stock and system inventory.
Timely issuance of requested supplies to departments.
Maintenance of hygienic and well-organized storage areas.
