ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving and inspecting goods: Verify incoming stock against the purchase order, check for damage, and record details in the inventory system.
Inventory management: Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, track levels, and manage stock rotation
to prevent spoilage.
Storage and organization: Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner, ensuring proper labeling and hygiene.
Stock control: Monitor stock levels and trigger reorder requests to the purchase executive when items approach minimum levels.
Issuing materials: Process authorized requisitions and issue the correct quantities of materials to the relevant departments.
Record keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all incoming and outgoing goods, including purchase information and invoices.
Auditing: Conduct regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts to verify record accuracy and identify discrepancies or pilferage.
