OFFICE BOY (RETAIL STORE)

Location: Santacruz West 

Job Type: Full-time 

Department: Store Operations 

Reports To: Store Manager / Supervisor 

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Office Boy to support daily operations at our retail store in Santacruz West. The role includes assisting staff, coordinating with customers and staff, managing basic store duties, and handling deliveries. The ideal candidate should be punctual, polite, and able to manage multiple support tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store & Office Support

- Maintain cleanliness and order inside and outside the store area

- Arrange basic stationery items

- Assist staff with small sales-related tasks (Packaging, etc)

- Ensure drinking water, tea/coffee arrangements for staff and guests

- Open and close the store as instructed by management

2. Customer Coordination

- Greet customers and guide them to the concerned staff

- Help customers with basic inquiries and ensure smooth communication

- Assist in packing and handling purchased products when required

- Maintain polite and professional behaviour with all customers

3. Staff Coordination

- Support sales staff in daily store activities

- Communicate messages between staff members and management

- Coordinate with support staff when needed

4. Delivery Handling

- Receive incoming deliveries and verify them with invoices

- Assist in dispatching outgoing orders to customers or courier partners

- Ensure proper handling of packages to avoid damage

- Maintain a simple record of incoming and outgoing deliveries

- Coordinate with delivery persons, couriers, and transport services

5. Other Duties

- Co-ordination with Head office and Store, under guidance of Manager and staff.

- Perform banking-related tasks such as cash/cheque deposit if required

- Purchase small office supplies and store requirements

- Making short trips outside to do necessary tasks
- Provide general assistance wherever required

Requirements:

- Minimum education: 10th/12th pass preferred

- Prior experience in a retail store is an advantage

- Basic understanding of reading and writing English/Hindi/Marathi

- Physically fit and able to lift light to medium-weight packages

- Honest, punctual, and well-organized

- Good communication and coordination skills

Working Hours:

Time1: 10.00 am to 8.00 pm

Time2: 11.00 am to 9.00 pm
