JOB DESCRIPTION – STORE HELPER

Position: Store Helper

Location: Bangalore
Industry: Saree Manufacturing & Wholesale
Experience: Fresher to Experienced – Both Can Apply

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Store Helper to assist with day-to-day store and stock-related activities in our saree wholesale business.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and arrange saree stock properly in the store

• Pick and issue sarees as instructed by the sales/store team

• Check quantity while receiving and dispatching stock

• Keep sarees properly arranged according to design, colour and stock location

• Assist in loading and unloading stock

• Move stock between racks and storage areas

• Help with packing and preparing orders for dispatch

• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the store

• Assist in stock counting and physical stock verification

• Report missing, damaged or incorrect items to the concerned person

• Follow proper rack/shelf and stock-location systems

• Support the store team in daily activities

Requirements

• Hardworking and physically active

• Responsible and punctual

• Willing to learn

• Basic understanding of counting and numbers

• Ability to handle and arrange saree stock carefully

• Basic knowledge of reading/writing is preferred

• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage but not compulsory

Experience

Freshers can apply.
Experienced candidates are also welcome.

Previous experience in a saree shop, textile store, wholesale business, warehouse, garment or retail store will be an advantage.
