Helper – Roles & Responsibilities (Loading and Unloading)

1. Loading Activities

• Load materials, goods, or products onto vehicles safely and efficiently.

• Ensure proper arrangement and stacking to prevent damage during transit.

• Follow supervisor instructions while loading goods.

• Verify quantity and condition of items before dispatch.

2. Unloading Activities

• Unload materials from trucks or delivery vehicles carefully.

• Check goods for any visible damage during unloading.

• Transfer materials to designated storage areas.

• Inform supervisor immediately if any shortage or damage is noticed.

3. Material Handling

• Use proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.

• Handle goods carefully to prevent breakage or loss.

• Assist in shifting materials within the warehouse or production area.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Wear safety gear such as gloves, helmets, or safety shoes as required.

• Follow company safety procedures during loading and unloading.

• Maintain cleanliness of loading/unloading area.

• Ensure pathways are clear to avoid accidents.

5. Team Coordination

• Work closely with drivers, supervisors, and warehouse staff.

• Support smooth and timely dispatch and receipt of materials
