About The New Shop

New Shop is a 24×7 convenience store chain offering everyday essentials, FMCG products, snacks, beverages and quick food options to customers. We are looking for a Café & Store Executive who can manage the cafeteria/F&B counter while also supporting day-to-day retail store operations.

Job Responsibilities

Café / F&B Operations

- Prepare and serve fast food, snacks, beverages and other café products as per company standards.

- Handle customer orders and ensure quick and accurate service.

- Maintain food quality, taste, presentation and portion control.

- Operate kitchen/café equipment safely and efficiently.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, kitchen and food preparation area.

- Follow food safety, hygiene and company SOPs.

- Monitor food ingredients, packaging material and café stock.

- Minimize food wastage and report damaged/expired products.

- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.

Retail Store Operations

- Welcome and assist customers in the store.

- Handle POS billing, cash and digital payments.

- Support product replenishment and merchandising.

- Maintain proper product displays and cleanliness of the store.

- Check product expiry dates and report damaged/expired products.

- Assist customers in finding products and provide basic product information.

- Support inventory counting and stock management.

- Coordinate with the Store Manager for daily store operations.

Customer Service

- Provide friendly and fast service to customers.

- Handle basic customer queries and complaints professionally.

- Maintain a clean, organized and customer-friendly environment.

- Ensure customers receive their café orders accurately and on time.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 10th or 12th pass.

- 1–3 years of experience in café, QSR, fast food, bakery, restaurant, food counter, supermarket or retail operations preferred.

- Candidates with experience in brands such as cafés, QSRs, supermarkets, convenience stores or food outlets will be preferred.

- Basic knowledge of food preparation and hygiene is required.

- Basic computer/POS billing knowledge preferred.

- Good communication and customer-handling skills.

- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail/F&B environment.

- Should be willing to work 12-hour shifts as per store requirement.

- Must be punctual, responsible and customer-oriented.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
