Job Summary:
The Store Executive – Laboratory is responsible for managing laboratory inventory, including reagents, consumables, chemicals, and equipment. The role ensures timely availability of materials, proper storage as per lab standards, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety and quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify laboratory materials,reagents, consumables, and equipment

Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, and balances (manual and/or ERP systems)

Ensure proper storage of lab items as per temperature, safety, and regulatory requirements

Monitor stock levels and initiate timely purchase requisitions to avoid shortages

Track expiry dates and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed

Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and laboratory staff for material requirements

Issue materials to lab departments as per authorized requests

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the store area

Assist in periodic stock audits and reconciliation

Handle documentation related to GRN, invoices, batch records, and compliance logs

Ensure adherence to NABL / ISO / GLP / GMP guidelines (as applicable).

Required Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of laboratory materials and consumables.

Experience:
Freshers with relevant educational background may also be considered (if applicable).
1–3 years of experience in laboratory stores, inventory, or materials management

Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of inventory control and documentation

Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and chemical handling

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP systems preferred)

Good organizational and coordination skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
