A Retail Sales Executive drives store revenue by delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining product knowledge. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments via POS systems, restocking shelves, arranging displays, and resolving complaints. They must be energetic, communicative, and skilled in upselling.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Generation: Proactively engaging customers, recommending products, upselling/cross-selling, and meeting daily/monthly sales KPIs.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering inquiries, building rapport, and resolving complaints professionally.
Store Operations:
Managing inventory (stock checks), restocking, cleaning, and maintaining visual merchandising standards
.
Transactions: Processing cash/card payments, handling returns, and managing POS systems.
Product Knowledge: Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and promotions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Sales Focus: Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
Attributes: Customer-oriented, motivated, and resilient.
Technical: Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift stock.

Typical Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
