About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused and result-oriented Retail Sales Executive with 2–6 years of relevant sales experience. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, understanding customer requirements, providing suitable product recommendations, maintaining strong customer relationships and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.

• Drive sales and achieve individual as well as assigned business targets.

• Handle billing, POS operations and cash transactions accurately, wherever applicable.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the concerned team regarding stock availability.

• Address customer queries, complaints and escalations effectively.

• Promote new products, offers and promotional activities.

• Maintain proper product display and ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs.

• Maintain customer records and prepare daily sales reports as required.

• Support sales operations and participate in promotional and customer engagement activities.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing customers.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of products and smooth customer service.

• Follow up on customer enquiries and potential sales opportunities.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Sales-oriented mindset with good negotiation abilities.

• Good understanding of retail sales operations and customer handling.

• Ability to work in a target-driven environment.

• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS/billing systems.

• Good product presentation and customer relationship skills.

• Ability to handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.

• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.

Qualification

• Graduate / Undergraduate in any discipline.

• Candidates with relevant experience in retail sales will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in retail sales.

• Candidates from industries such as hardware, industrial products, building materials, engineering products, automotive, consumer durables, electronics, FMCG or other retail sectors may be considered.

• Candidates with experience in stainless steel products, fasteners, hardware or allied industrial products will have an added advantage.

• Strong customer-handling and sales-conversion skills.

• Candidates should be comfortable working towards sales targets.

Compensation

• ₹30,000–₹40,000 per month

• Salary will be offered based on the candidate's relevant experience and last drawn salary.
