Job Overview:
The Restaurant Manager or a Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a single location. This role includes overseeing staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, managing inventory, and driving profitability. The Restaurant Manager or a Store manager plays a key role in creating a positive work environment and ensuring that the restaurant runs efficiently, meets company standards, and provides exceptional food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
o Manage daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional customer service.
o Ensure all staff are following company policies and operational procedures, including food safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards.
o Monitor and maintain restaurant equipment to ensure everything is in working order.
o Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
2. Staff Management & Development:
o Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff to deliver excellent service.
o Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient restaurant operations with shift managers.
o Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to staff.
o Assist in hiring and recruit new team members as needed.
o Create positive atmosphere in restaurant and show them the career path.
3. Financial & Inventory Management:
o Monitor and control restaurant expenses, including labour costs, food costs, and supplies.
o Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure proper stock levels and manage food ordering efficiently.
o Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities to increase revenue and improve profitability.
o Ensure that the restaurant operates within budget and financial targets are met.
4. Customer Service Excellence:
o Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and service, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
o Train staff on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
o Respond to customer feedback, both positive and negative, and implement improvements as necessary.
o Empathize with Customer concerns and address with swift response.
5. Health & Safety Compliance:
o Ensure that the restaurant complies with local health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
o Conduct regular checks to maintain cleanliness and ensure all areas of the restaurant are safe for customers and team members.
o Ensure team members are trained in proper food safety procedures and hygiene practices.
6. Marketing & Promotion:
o Assist with local marketing efforts and promotions to drive customer traffic and boost sales.
o Work with the management team to implement new menu items, limited-time offers, or special promotions.
7. Administrative Duties:
o Maintain accurate records for employee attendance, operational cost , inventory, and sales reports.
o Handle cash management and daily sales reconciliation.
o Complete operational reports and communicate key performance metrics to Area management.

Qualifications:
· Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
· Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a management role in the foodservice industry.
· Skills:
o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written especially regional language.
o Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
o Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
o Proficient in using point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel.
o Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
