Job Description:
A Pharmacist Sales Counter Executive handles retail customer service, dispenses over-the-counter and prescription medicines, manages store inventory, and processes cash or digital payments at the pharmacy counter.
Experience:
06 Months To 01 Year Of Retail Sales or Pharmacy Counter Experience.
Qualification:
Degree/Diploma in pharmacy (D.Pharma or B.Pharma) preferred.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers, listen to their health needs, and recommend appropriate over-the-counter (OTC) products.
Prescription Handling: Read and fill prescriptions accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Billing and Cashiering: Operate the billing system, process card or cash transactions, and provide accurate receipts.
Inventory Management: Restock shelves, check expiration dates, and report low stock levels to the manager.
Compliance: Maintain a clean workspace and follow local pharmacy regulations and safety guidelines.
Skills: Basic English communication, active listening, foundational math skills, and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) software.
Licenses: Local state pharmacy council registration or licensing where required by regional laws.
