Job Title: Jewellery Consultant / Counter Sales

🧾 Job Summary:

The Counter Sales is the face of the store, responsible for delivering excellent customer

service and driving sales at the counter. This role involves greeting customers, understanding

their needs, recommending products, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and

organized sales area. A successful candidate is energetic, persuasive and customer-focused,

with strong communication and interpersonal skills. 🛠️

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers at the sales counter.

• Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable products.

• Provide product information, pricing, and availability.

• Handle billing, payments, and returns efficiently.

• Maintain stock display and ensure product availability.

• Keep the counter area clean and presentable.

🎓 Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma (SSC/HSC) or equivalent

• Basic computer knowledge: Familiarity with billing software, POS systems, and

MS Office

• Proficiency in local language (e.g., Hindi) and basic English communication

🧰 Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in retail, showroom, or counter sales

• Experience handling customer interactions, product recommendations and

billing

• Familiarity with inventory management and daily sales reporting
