Job Responsibilities
Welcome customers and understand their requirements.
Explain cakes, pastries, bakery products, flavours, sizes and prices to customers.
Take customer orders accurately and prepare bills.
Handle cash, UPI, card and other payment methods.
Pack cakes and bakery products properly as per customer requirements.
Ensure proper display of cakes, pastries and other products at the counter.
Check product quality, freshness, expiry and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the sales counter and shop.
Maintain proper stock of counter products and inform the Store Manager about low stock.
Handle customer queries and complaints politely and professionally.
Coordinate with the dispatch team for fresh product requirements and special orders.
Follow company rules, grooming standards, food safety and hygiene procedures.
Assist in opening and closing activities of the store.
Maintain proper cash and sales records.
Promote new products, offers and special items to customers.
Ensure excellent customer service and achieve daily/monthly sales targets.
