Job Title: Counter Sales Executive – Jewellery

Job Summary:

The Counter Sales Executive is responsible for presenting, promoting, and selling jewellery products to walk-in customers in a retail showroom. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, in-depth product knowledge, and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to ensure a pleasant buying experience and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting suitable jewellery.

• Explain jewellery designs, quality, pricing, and care instructions.

• Promote products through upselling and cross-selling.

• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

• Maintain attractive jewellery displays and counter cleanliness.

• Process sales transactions accurately.

• Inform customers about ongoing offers and discounts.

• Ensure merchandise safety and security.

• Manage stock, inventory, and daily sales reports.

• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat sales.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• HSC / Graduate in any field.

• Experience in retail sales, preferably jewellery or luxury products.

• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of gold, diamonds, and gemstones.

• Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.

• Good presentation and attention to detail.

• Basic computer knowledge (billing and inventory).

• Honest and trustworthy in handling valuable products.

Work Environment:

Retail showroom environment.

Working hours may include weekends and public holidays.

May require standing for long periods.
