URGENT HIRING SHOWROOM SALES PERSON – WOMEN WEAR CLOTHING

Working Days: 6 Days a Week
Working Hours: 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and confident Showroom Sales Person for our women's wear clothing showroom.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience in textile or fabric sales and should have good knowledge of women's clothing, fabrics, garment quality, designs, patterns and customer requirements.

The candidate will be responsible for handling customers at the showroom, understanding their requirements, suggesting suitable products, explaining fabric and product features, handling negotiations and converting walk-in customers into sales.

Candidates with strong selling skills, good knowledge of women's wear and previous experience in textile/fabric sales will be preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. SHOWROOM SALES

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom.

• Understand customers' requirements, preferences and budget.

• Recommend suitable women's wear products based on customer requirements.

• Demonstrate products and explain fabric quality, design, fitting, pattern and other product features.

• Actively engage with customers and convert enquiries into sales.

• Achieve monthly sales targets as assigned by management.

• Upsell and cross-sell relevant products wherever appropriate.

• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly approach throughout the sales process.

2. WOMEN'S CLOTHING & FABRIC KNOWLEDGE

• Have good knowledge of women's clothing and fashion products.

• Understand different types of fabrics and their characteristics.

• Be able to explain differences between fabrics, quality, texture, finish and usage.

• Understand women's wear categories, designs, patterns, colours and current customer preferences.

• Guide customers regarding suitable fabrics and clothing according to occasion, season and requirement.

• Keep updated with current trends in women's fashion and fabrics.

3. CUSTOMER HANDLING

• Build strong relationships with showroom customers.

• Understand customer preferences and provide personalized product suggestions.

• Handle customer questions regarding products, pricing, quality and availability.

• Handle customer objections and negotiate professionally when required.

• Ensure a positive customer experience and encourage repeat purchases.

• Maintain good relationships with regular customers.

4. SALES & TARGET ACHIEVEMENT

• Work towards achieving individual and showroom sales targets.

• Follow effective selling techniques to maximize conversions.

• Maintain knowledge of available products, new arrivals and stock.

• Inform customers about new collections, offers and suitable products.

• Identify opportunities for additional sales.

• Maintain proper records of sales and customer requirements as required by management.

5. SHOWROOM MANAGEMENT

• Keep the sales area organized and presentable.

• Ensure products are properly displayed and arranged.

• Assist with product arrangement, stock checking and new product displays when required.

• Coordinate with other showroom staff regarding customer requirements and product availability.

• Maintain professional discipline and showroom standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Previous experience in textile, fabric, garment or fashion sales is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of women's clothing and fabrics.

• Excellent customer-handling and selling skills.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

This position is specifically for an experienced sales professional who understands textiles and women's clothing. Candidates with only general retail sales experience and without practical knowledge of fabrics or women's wear may not be suitable for this position.

Salary will be decided between ₹20,000 and ₹28,000 based on the candidate's selling ability, textile/fabric knowledge, relevant experience and overall performance during the selection process.
