• Coordinate daily cash collection and handling activities at retail stores.

• Monitor cash received from cash counters and ensure accurate reporting.

• Verify daily cash collection reports against system records.

• Perform daily cash reconciliation and identify discrepancies.

• Coordinate cash deposits with banks or authorized cash-handling teams.

• Maintain accurate records of cash collections, deposits, and transfers.

• Monitor cashiers and ensure compliance with cash-handling procedures.

• Investigate cash shortages, excesses, and discrepancies.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports for management.

• Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Store Operations, and Audit teams.

• Ensure proper documentation and authorization for cash movements.

• Support internal and external audits related to cash transactions.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, and security procedures.

• Escalate unusual transactions, discrepancies, or suspected irregularities to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

• Relevant experience in cash management, retail finance, accounts, or supermarket operations.

• Experience handling cash reconciliation and daily collection reports.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic accounting systems/ERP.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to identify and resolve cash discrepancies.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Experience in retail, supermarket, hypermarket, FMCG, or multi-outlet operations will be an advantage.
