Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate customer invoices for vehicle service, spare parts, and labour charges.

• Verify job cards before billing to ensure all services and parts are accurately recorded.

• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Technicians to resolve billing discrepancies.

• Explain the invoice and charges to customers in a clear and professional manner.

• Collect customer approvals before finalising bills, whenever required.

• Maintain proper billing records and documentation.

• Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding payment reconciliation.

• Follow up on pending payments and outstanding invoices, if assigned.

• Assist customers with billing-related queries and resolve concerns promptly.

• Maintain daily billing reports and submit them to the reporting manager.

• Ensure timely closure of job cards after successful billing.

• Support the Service Department in maintaining smooth customer service operations.

• Coordinate with customers regarding vehicle delivery after billing is completed.

• Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.

Required Skills

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of automobile service processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software (Dealer Management System is preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

• Graduate, or any relevant discipline.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in billing, preferably in the automobile industry.

• Experience with automobile dealership billing and job card processing is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working with an automobile dealership or service centre.

• Familiarity with service job cards and spare parts billing.

• Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple billing transactions efficiently.
