Job Summary
Bharat Toyota is seeking a skilled and dedicated Car Technician to perform vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with Toyota's service standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using Toyota diagnostic equipment.
Carry out engine, transmission, suspension, brake, steering, and electrical system repairs.
Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and quality checks.
Follow Toyota repair procedures and service manuals.
Complete repair orders accurately and update job status in the workshop management system.
Ensure all repairs are completed within the standard labor time.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work bay and tools.
Follow all workshop safety procedures and company policies.
Inform the Service Advisor or Workshop Supervisor of additional repairs required.
Attend technical training programs conducted by Toyota and Bharat Toyota.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Eligibility Criteria
ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience as an Automobile Technician (Toyota experience preferred).
Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicle systems.
Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Basic computer skills for updating job cards and service records.
Preferred Qualifications
Toyota Technical Certification (preferred).
Valid Driving License.
Experience in dealership workshop operations.
