Job Description – HR Recruiter

Position: HR Recruiter – IT & Non-IT Recruitment
Industry: IT & Cyber Security Training
Location: Thane (Naupada)
Experience: 1 to 3 Year

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented HR Recruiter with hands-on knowledge of both IT and Non-IT recruitment. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete recruitment cycle, from understanding job requirements and sourcing candidates to interview coordination, selection, and onboarding.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of IT technologies as well as Non-IT functions and be comfortable handling multiple requirements simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

· Understand hiring requirements and prepare/understand detailed Job Descriptions (JDs).

· Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, job portals, social media, and other channels.

· Handle end-to-end recruitment for both IT and Non-IT positions.

· Screen resumes and conduct initial HR screening/interviews.

· Assess candidates based on skills, experience, communication, salary expectations, and job requirements.

· Coordinate technical/functional interviews with hiring managers.

· Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

· Negotiate salary and manage offer discussions.

· Coordinate documentation and joining formalities.

· Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.

· Follow up with selected candidates until their date of joining.

· Achieve recruitment targets and maintain required Time-to-Hire and quality-of-hire standards.

· Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.

· Develop and maintain good relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.

· Prepare regular recruitment reports and hiring status updates.

IT Recruitment Knowledge

The candidate should have a basic-to-good understanding of common IT profiles and technologies, such as:

· Software Developer / Full Stack Developer

· Java / Python / .NET Developers

· Web Developers

· Data Analyst / Data Scientist

· Cloud Computing / Cloud Engineer

· DevOps Engineer

· Cyber Security

· Network Engineer

· QA / Software Testing

· Database / SQL

· UI/UX

· Technical Support / IT Support

Note: The recruiter is not required to be a technical expert but should be able to understand technical JDs, identify relevant skills, and perform effective initial screening.

Non-IT Recruitment Knowledge

The recruiter should also be comfortable hiring for Non-IT positions, including:

· Marketing

· Administration

· Finance & Accounts

· HR

· Customer Service

· Operations

· Back Office

· Manufacturing / Production

· Purchase & Procurement

· Logistics & Supply Chain

· Education / Training

· Other general corporate and operational roles

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of IT and Non-IT recruitment

· Good understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing techniques

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Good candidate screening and interviewing skills

· Ability to understand technical and non-technical job requirements

· Strong negotiation and follow-up skills

· Ability to work under recruitment targets and deadlines

· Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets

· Experience with ATS/HRMS will be an added advantage

· Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously

· Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related field

· MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage

· 1–3 years of experience in recruitment

· Candidates with experience in both IT and Non-IT hiring will be preferred.
