Position: HR Recruiter
Location: Chennai, South Region
Experience: 3-5 Years in Recruitment
Industry Preference: Automobile or Manufacturing
Qualification: Graduation in Engineering & MBA in HR
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in engineering and HR management, with a solid understanding of recruitment practices within the automobile or manufacturing industries.
This role involves sourcing candidates who have technical experience in Quality Departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, specifically for roles related to Quality Departments in the South region.
- Focus on recruiting candidates with backgrounds in the automobile and manufacturing sectors.
2. Sourcing & Screening:
- Source candidates with engineering qualifications (Diploma or B.E./B.Tech) who have experience in visual and dimensional inspection in Quality Departments.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to ensure candidates meet both technical and cultural requirements.
3. Collaborate with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand the specific requirements of each role and customize recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Provide insights on candidate availability and trends within the industry to support decision-making.
4. Interview Scheduling & Candidate Coordination:
- Coordinate interview schedules and maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience by providing timely updates and feedback.
5. Talent Pool Development:
- Build and maintain a database of qualified candidates for future roles in the Quality Department.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure a robust and relevant candidate pipeline.
6. Offer Management & Onboarding:
- Handle offer discussions, negotiate compensation packages, and facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure offers align with company policies and market standards.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of recruitment experience in the automobile or manufacturing industries.
- Educational background: Graduation in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) and MBA in HR.
- Experience in recruiting candidates with qualifications in engineering (Diploma or B.E./B.Tech) and at least 1-2 years of Quality Department experience (visual and dimensional inspection).
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes in manufacturing settings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects and work independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using recruitment tools.
- Must have used social media as networking tool like Facebook, WhatsApp groups, another source to be connected with relevant job seekers.
- Networking skills for sourcing niche candidates within the automobile or manufacturing sectors.
- Understanding of basic labour laws and HR practices specific to the region.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Chennai, with travel required within the South region as needed.
Notice period: Max 1 month only.
Salary: (Based on current salary of candidate -15 to 20% hike) – Whichever is lesser.
