Position: Painter – Special Finish Worker

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Special Finish Paint Worker with hands-on experience in decorative and custom paint finishes on metal/steel furniture. The candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality finishes as per design samples and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply special paint finishes such as texture, metallic, antique, rustic, matt, gloss, and custom finishes on steel furniture

• Perform surface preparation including sanding, putty application, priming, and buffing

• Handle spray painting using airless / HVLP spray guns

• Ensure shade matching and finish consistency as per approved samples

• Carry out PU paint finishing and special coating touch-ups

• Identify and rectify paint defects (orange peel, sagging, pinholes, shade variation)

• Maintain finish quality standards and minimize rework

• Follow paint shop SOPs, safety norms, and ISO guidelines

• Coordinate with QC and Production teams for approvals and batch completion

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in special finish painting

• Hands-on experience in metal / steel furniture painting

• Knowledge of PU paints, primers, textures, and metallic finishes

• Ability to work on custom orders and sample development

• Understanding of paint thickness, drying cycles, and finish control

• Experience in factory-based paint shop environment preferred

Education

• ITI / Diploma (Preferred but not mandatory)

• Practical skill and experience will be given priority
