Service engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team in Mumbai and ensure the highest standards of equipment reliability and client satisfaction.

Position Summary

• Job Title: Field Service Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical)

• Location: Bhandup, Mumbai (with regional travel to client sites)

• Experience Required: 1 to 5 years (Mandatory background in Hoist & Crane Industry)

• Compensation: ₹2.4 Lakhs to ₹4.8 Lakhs per annum (₹20,000 - ₹40,000/month based on experience)

• Education: ITI, Diploma, or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Core Responsibilities

• Breakdown & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on EOT cranes, chain hoists, and wire rope hoists. Troubleshoot 3-phase circuits, control panels, and radio remotes.

• Installation & VFD Calibration: Lead the onsite assembly, alignment, and commissioning of new lifting equipment. Program and configure Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) for smooth operation.

• Site Leadership: Guide and manage a small team of 1–2 helper technicians, ensuring tasks are completed safely and within deadlines.

• Safety & Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, load testing, and equipment safety audits.

• Client & Admin Management: Train client operators on daily safety checks and accurately document site service cards, breakdown reports, and spare parts requests.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Industry Experience: 1–5 years of mandatory hands-on experience working specifically with industrial hoists, EOT cranes, and wire rope systems.

• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read electrical drawings, troubleshoot 3-phase wiring, control panels, and program VFDs.

• Team Management: Capability to lead and manage a small team of 1–2 helpers on-site.

• Physical & Logistical Flexibility: Must be comfortable working at heights and flexible enough to handle urgent, short-notice breakdown calls.
